Ricky T’s is a restaurant and bar in Treasure Island, Florida. Featuring brunch Fri-Sun, followed by lunch and dinner, we have three full liquor bars and live nightly entertainment. We offer something for everyone—men, women, singles, couples, families, locals, and visitors alike.

Ricky T’s is located on Gulf Boulevard, adjacent to downtown Treasure Island. We’re directly across from the beach and within walking distance of several Treasure Island hotels, including the Thunderbird, Bilmar, Best Western, Surf Beach Resort, Treasure Bay Hotel and Marina, and more.

We are just a short drive from Clearwater Beach, Madeira Beach, and St. Petersburg. We’re open Monday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. serving our full menu from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. Call us at (727) 363-7425 for our menu or for takeout.

If you find yourself wandering down the sun-drenched sands of Clearwater Beach, just as the gulls are gossiping overhead and the salty breeze rolls in off the Gulf, you may stumble upon a curious scent wafting through the air—something between smoked hickory and sun-soaked rum. Follow your nose (and the laughter), and you’ll land right in front of Hogg Daddy’s, a place that’s more than a restaurant—it’s a legend in the making.

Now, this is no ordinary beachfront shack. No sir. This slice of paradise was dreamt up by a gentleman known only as Hawks. Born and barbecued in the heart of Memphis, Hawks was a man with a mighty appetite—for ribs, revelry, and a good time beneath the palm trees. A connoisseur of low-and-slow cooking and high-spirited cocktails, he always believed that barbecue didn’t have to be landlocked.  

One day, Hawks looked out over the muddy Mississippi and said, “This pitmaster needs a beach.” And with that, he packed up his sauce-stained recipe book, a couple of trusty smokers, a wooden tiki idol he swears brings good luck, and headed south ‘til the highway ran out at Clearwater Beach. 

What rose from the sand was a glorious union of Memphis soul and Florida sun—Hogg Daddy’s, a place where the ribs fall off the bone, the pulled pork dances in sweet and spicy sauce, and the beachy cocktails (like the Cadillac Margarita and the Memphis Mud) come with stories as wild as a bonfire at low tide. Add the best fish in the world from Gulf of America and you have it all. What could be better than seafood and BBQ for pirates and those searching for paradise. 

Inside, the walls are lined with license plates, surfboards, vintage blues records, and one honorary photo of Hawks wearing his infamous Boss Hogg suit. Dreaming of a pig over flame and doing the limbo with a fire juggler. Locals and beach-goers alike swear that the jukebox plays better when you’ve got barbecue sauce on your fingers.

Hawks himself still makes the rounds—sunhat on, barefoot in the sand, offering a plate of his famous Memphis Nachos or pouring a Scotty Mac Rum Runner with a wink. He’ll tell you tales of Elvis sightings back home, B B Kings place on Beale St. and out drinking Tim McGraw turning him sober. Even the time he smoked a brisket so good it stopped a seagull mid-flight. 

Hogg Daddy’s has become the unofficial soul of Clearwater Beach—a place where locals gather after sunset, where visitors return year after year, and where every bite tastes like summer and every sip feels like home.

So if you hear the sizzle of ribs, scent of smoked wings, and in the mood to try Hogg fish. Just follow the ocean breeze and the sound of and the sound of laughter floating on the waves.
